KPMF keeps developing new programs in the genre of piano ensemble music. Our third season promises to be extremely exciting. The following shows some of the events we will present. Saturday, November 14, 2009, 7:30PM Sunday, January 31, 2010, 4PM A dazzling display by a dozen pianos in concert together. This concert will present tens of pianists of all ages, including young artists, college/graduate students, and enthusiasts from The Bay Area. Friday, March 12, 2010, 7:30PM Back by popular demand: another amazing concert on historic keyboards. Discover the well-kept secret that SJSU is a host to a collection of remarkable historic instruments that span 300 years of keyboard history. Wednesday-Sunday, June 16-20, 2010 Renown artists from around the world will join our own brilliant local artists of all ages in a glorious celebration of piano duos, trios, quintets, and more! Seo and Kato Duo, the 2005 Winner of the Dranoff International Piano Duo Competition, presents premiere pieces they commissioned. Duo Pianistico di Firenze returns to the Festival with their highly acclaimed perfect ensemble, exquisite tonal balance and refined stylistic choices.
